The Annie Besant Girls Intermediate College, has had an enviable reputation as a centre
of academic excellence since its establishment. Invariably, excellent institutions are built round
untiring collective efforts ofthe management committee, faculty and the staffto promote basic
disciplinary and civil standards of behaviour, sustained and systematic work carried out with
diligence and ceaseless passion for academic excellence.
Presently, when human values' erosion has begun to the great extent, we are trying our
level best to restore the previous norms by providing value-based education Ensuring all round
development of our disciples and making them trained in good citizenship, are our basic
priorities. In our school special attention is paid to discipline, etiquettes, sanity and sancitity in
thoughts and deeds. Due to all these characteristics and regularly enhancing learning resources,
consoldiating basic infrastructure, including the library, laboratories and information cum
communication technologies and qualitatively improving its teaching standards, the prestige
and reputation ofthe school is rising up and up successively.
